Do Good, Feel Good: Wellness Event at the SOCO Market!

  • SOCO Costa Mesa Farmers' Market 3315 Hyland Avenue Costa Mesa, CA, 92626 United States (map)

On Saturday, May 14th, customers in the SOCO Farmers' Market will have the opportunity to do good and feel good! Newport Pain and Wellness will be providing 5 minute massages to community members who make a donation to the market's Help a Farmer, Help a Family program. Those who donate will also get a turn on a professional rowing machine, provided by Row House Tustin, and will be entered to win a wellness raffle basket, valued at $250.

The Help a Farmer, Help a Family program purchases fresh local produce from farmers, and donates it to formerly homeless families at the Westwood Transitional Village. Along with donations, the program provides hands-on cooking classes for kids and parents. These classes inspire families to incorporate more veggies into their weekly meals. Newport Pain and Wellness is providing massages and a raffle basket, free of charge. Their generous gift allows for 100% of donations collected to go directly toward purchasing fruit and vegetables from local farmers, for local families.

The SOCO Farmers' Market by Farmer Mark takes place every Saturday, from 9am-2pm in the parking lot of SOCO and the OC Mix. The market boasts an array of local and organic vendors with fruits, vegetables, flowers, microgreens, and lots of prepared foods. Donations can be made on the program's website.
