Participate in a Sun Printing Workshop led by the Palos Verdes School Gardens, from 2:00 - 4:00pm at the Hermosa Beach Farmers' Market by the Pier!

Sun printing is one of the oldest photographic printing techniques. Paper is brushed with a light-sensitive material which turns a rich blue when exposed to sunlight. Then objects are placed on the paper (leaves, herbs, etc.) to block the light. The result is a beautiful blue canvass with white "prints."

This is a great family activity to get your little one(s) learning about our natural world!
